AI for Rhino
AI for Rhino can help frame questions about selected geometry and prepare a reviewable modelling request. In Vector OS, start with the objects and document you mean, then separate an explanation, a proposed plan and an approved native change.
Rhino is available in the Vector OS beta. Grasshopper integration is in development; it does not inherit Rhino availability.
Start with geometry and a clear boundary.
A useful Rhino request identifies the selected objects, model units and relationships to retain. A change to one bracket should not silently become a change to an assembly. State whether you need an explanation, a proposed dimension change or a review of supplied results.
An example request to plan.
Illustrative request, subject to the supported scope of your build.
Plan extending this selected bracket from 80 mm to 120 mm. Keep its mounting holes and base position. Identify affected geometry and explain how I should check the result before any change.
Use the intended document and a small explicit selection. Include the target dimension, the features that must remain and the output you expect. Preserve the original when preparing a review copy.
What should you check?
- Confirm units, object identity and the starting dimension.
- Check that retained holes and mating faces still meet the brief.
- Inspect the host result; a completed reply alone does not verify geometry.
Review selected context and native approval before a supported change.
Website samples are scripted and do not connect to or change your CAD software. Beta access, host versions and supported actions require separate confirmation. Check Windows beta access.
