AI and your engineering tools
AI for Revit
AI for Revit starts with a specific BIM question and the elements it concerns. A useful request names the document, view and intended change, then makes dependencies visible before work is approved. Vector OS separates planning from native action.
Revit is available in the Vector OS beta. Dynamo integration is in development; it does not inherit Revit availability.
Keep the building relationships in the brief.
A Revit element belongs to a wider model: levels, hosts, types and dependent views can matter. Describe what must remain as carefully as what should change. Reviewing one canopy is a narrower task than redesigning the building or issuing coordinated drawings.
An example request to plan.
Illustrative request, subject to the supported scope of your build.
Review a proposed extension of the selected canopy. Keep the courtyard, adjacent walls and levels. List affected elements and drawing views, then prepare a plan for review without changing the model.
Identify the relevant elements and the intended view. Supply the design constraint and target dimensions in model units. Explain which interfaces, annotations or schedules need a separate check.
What should you check?
- Verify the intended document, element selection and parameter scope.
- Review hosts, constraints and dependent views before accepting a change.
- Check the resulting model and drawings separately; neither is certified by a chat reply.
Review selected context and native approval before a supported change.
Website samples are scripted and do not connect to or change your CAD software. Beta access, host versions and supported actions require separate confirmation. Check Windows beta access.
