AI for Autodesk Dynamo

AI for Autodesk Dynamo should begin with the graph, its inputs and the Revit elements it may affect. Dynamo is a visual programming environment. Here, a proposed graph review explains intent and dependencies; it does not demonstrate a live Vector OS integration.

Autodesk Dynamo · In development

Dynamo integration is in development. Revit availability does not establish Dynamo feature support. No release date has been announced.

Make parameter writes visible before execution.

A graph may read model information or write values across many elements. Those are different scopes. Describe the selected elements, parameter identity and units, and distinguish a type parameter from an instance parameter where relevant. Avoid treating a graph as harmless because its canvas looks small.

An example request to plan.

Illustrative request, subject to the supported scope of your build.

Trace the nodes feeding this proposed parameter write. List target Revit elements, current and intended values, and units. Flag missing references or packages. Prepare a review checklist; do not run the graph.

For a concept discussion, describe inputs, node connections, dependencies and expected outputs. Keep assumptions explicit. A planned parameter update is not permission to execute the graph or to change a model.

This is a planning example. Vector OS does not offer a released Dynamo connector here; Revit beta availability does not establish Dynamo support.

What should you check?

  • Review the element set and parameter scope before any write.
  • Check missing packages, references and graph execution settings.
  • Compare intended values with actual model readback after any separately approved operation.

Review selected context and native approval before a supported change.

Website samples are scripted and do not connect to or change your CAD software. Beta access, host versions and supported actions require separate confirmation. Check Windows beta access.
