AI and your engineering tools

AI for Blender

AI for Blender can start with a focused scene or modelling question: which object should change, what should stay and how will you check it? Vector OS separates that request from approval and verification of any supported native action.

Blender · Available

Blender is available in the Vector OS beta. Supported features and host versions depend on your build.

Name the object, scene and intended result.

A Blender scene contains more than the visible mesh. Collections, transforms, modifiers, cameras and materials can affect a result. State whether you want a geometry change, scene inspection or presentation plan, and keep unrelated objects outside the requested scope.

An example request to plan.

Illustrative request, subject to the supported scope of your build.

Plan increasing the selected bracket length while retaining its hole spacing and object name. Explain how scene units, object scale and modifiers affect the proposal. Leave the camera, lighting and other objects unchanged.

Identify the scene and target object, supply the desired dimension and list properties to retain. Keep a copy of the starting state when reviewing an edit. A rendered image alone cannot establish dimensions or object validity.

What should you check?

  • Confirm scene units and object transforms before judging size.
  • Inspect geometry and modifier effects as well as visual appearance.
  • Read back the changed object and check the saved output separately when required.

Review selected context and native approval before a supported change.

Website samples are scripted and do not connect to or change your CAD software. Beta access, host versions and supported actions require separate confirmation. Check Windows beta access.
