Change or cancel a plan

Review subscription timing, team capacity and server confirmation before changing or canceling a plan.

Before you begin

  • A confirmed account with authority over the intended personal subscription or team.
  • The current subscription, paid-through date and published target offer/terms.
  • For a team downgrade, active members and pending reserved invitations must fit the target seats.

Follow the steps

  1. Read the current subscription

Choose the intended personal/team scope and inspect the authoritative plan, renewal boundary, status and paid-through date.

Checkpoint: You are reviewing the actual subscription you intend to change, not another wallet or a draft offer.

  2. Compare the published target and timing

Read the offered price, allowance, limits, effective date and terms together. Confirm the actual timing and any proration before agreeing to a change; do not assume immediate replacement credits.

Checkpoint: The effective date and resulting conditions are explicit before confirmation.

  3. Check team capacity before a downgrade

Count active members plus pending unexpired invitations, including the owner. Resolve excess capacity deliberately before scheduling a smaller plan.

Checkpoint: The target seat capacity can support the current team/reservations.

  4. Review cancellation separately

If canceling, read the exact subscription, effective date, access conditions and refund terms before confirming. Verify the resulting server state; cancellation does not by itself prove a refund.

Checkpoint: The intended cancellation and effective boundary are clear.

  5. Submit once and read the server result

Confirm the selected action when the service is available. Read the current subscription/scheduled-change record after submission.

Checkpoint: The server confirms the schedule/cancellation, or displays an unresolved state for that same action.

  6. Check credits and outstanding work

Read the applicable monthly allowance expiry, purchased-credit eligibility and any outstanding reservations separately. Existing dispatched work retains its original scope and accounting.

Checkpoint: You do not infer a fresh allowance, automatic refund, deleted history or erased native effect from a plan change.

Check the result

  • The authoritative subscription shows the intended scheduled change or cancellation with its effective boundary.
  • Purchased rights, personal history, recorded usage and unresolved reservations remain accounted for under their own rules.

If something goes wrong

  • No offer is published or the service is unavailable.

Stop before purchase/change. Read Pricing availability or contact Support for accurate current conditions.

Resume from: Published offer and enabled authorized billing service.

  • The response is lost or the old schedule still appears.

Keep the original action/reference and reread the subscription. Ask Support to inspect it instead of repeatedly submitting another change or checkout.

Resume from: Known original subscription action outcome.

  • A team downgrade is over capacity.

Review members and pending invites with the owner; release capacity only through explicit authorized choices.

Resume from: Capacity fits before scheduling.

  • You want a refund or see disputed usage.

Request help with the exact subscription/payment/run references. A confirmed financial reversal is separate from cancellation and must preserve original records.

    Resume from: Authoritative support/payment decision.
